Maria Andrade - President of Fertility Bridges

Maria Andrade has applied her passion in technology and health services to revolutionize the way Intended Parents utilize the Internet to manage their infertility challenges.

FertilityBridgesNetwork.com and FertilitySurrogates.com, the unique interactive online Donor and Surrogate Databases, are the product of years of research and development. Maria has integrated feedback from Fertility Bridges’ thousands of clients and continues to help to refine the technology systems to meet Intended Parents needs, as well as serving the special requirements of Donors and Surrogates.

Maria understands the importance of education in shaping a young woman's life choices, especially those that may affect a woman's ability to donate eggs. Therefore she feels strongly about requiring every one of the Egg Donors in the Fertility Bridges Database to have a college education. This is unique in the industry and currently Fertility Bridges has the only Donor Database where every Egg Donor has at least 2 years of college completed.

As President, Maria works with a dedicated team of eight people that have been touched by infertility or other health challenges. As a result, each team member approaches their work with a deep sense of respect and empathy for those seeking solutions to their infertility.

Maria Andrade is a supporter of the American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) Research Endowment fund that supports continued research in all aspects of reproductive medicine. The ASRM was originally founded in Chicago (where Fertility Bridges is located) in 1944 by a group of Fertility Experts.

Maria's hope is that through additional research and development infertility procedures will become more economical for everyone. For those who currently have trouble financially covering the costs, Fertility Bridges provides a charitable discount for Intended Parents that are teachers and social workers, or that work for a non-profit company. These recipients can save up to 50% on the agency match fees.

As part of her commitment to be part of a lower cost alternative for Intended Parents, she has created the Value Egg Donor Program that has over 50 Donors registered that are willing to complete an Egg Donation Cycle for only $3,500. This is well below the ASRM recommended rate of $10,000 and below other agency Donor fees.

Maria is a champion of philanthropic giving and encourages her team and others to donate and participate in organizations such as Resolve and other infertility focused groups, whether in person or online.
