Fees For Egg Donation and Surrogacy

EGG DONATION AGENCY FEES

Please consult with a Fertility Bridges Match Coordinator about Agency Fees since they vary due to a multitude of factors, such as:

* Your Donor's proximity to your fertility clinic.

* The fee your Egg Donor charges.

* If your Donor has donated before.

* The timing of your egg donation.

* If your egg donation is anonymous (most are).

* If you qualify for a charitable discount.

Our goal is to make egg donation affordable for as many families as possible. We have philanthropic programs for lower income families and 75 (out of 300) Donors have only a $3,500 fee (well below the industry average of $7,000).

Additional Fees Charged by Other Companies
(all costs are approximate and subject to change):

$800-$1,200: Legal Fees

Legal fees for your third party reproductive legal agreement between you and your Donor. You must hire attorneys that specializes in reproductive law.

$400: Insurance

Donor medical insurance for the egg donor cycle obtained from a quality insurance company. You must purchase this on your own.


$3,000-$4,000+: Travel Expenses

Travel expenses for Donors that do not live within a 2 hour drive of your fertility clinic. If you take an active part in shopping for the best travel deals, this number may be reduced. Typically hotels for Donors average $125 a night, car rental is $75 a day, food per diem per day for Donor and her companion is $75. Airfare can vary dramatically depending on if the flights have to be changed or booked last minute, which is often the case. Many IVF clinic want the Donor to come to the clinic twice. The first time for one day of screening and the second time for a week for the retrieval. (Due to the fact out of town Donors can add considerable expense, it may be more cost efficient to find a local Donor.)

$1,000-$2,500: Monitoring Fee

Outside monitoring fees for non-local Donors paid to separate IVF clinic to perform lab work and ultrasounds of Donor during the stimulation process. Your doctor will give you a better estimate of all the medical costs involved.

$2,000-$4,000: Medication

Medication costs for Donor paid to a fertility pharmacy. These costs can vary dramatically depending on what stimulation protocol your doctor prescribes.

$25,000-$35,000+: IVF Clinic Fees

This is the average fee that IVF clinics charge for one egg donation cycle. Some clinics offer a shared-risk program for multiple cycles for a larger fee.

Egg Donor Match Process

Once Intended Parents have selected a Donor from the Fertility Bridges Egg Donor Database, and paid the match fee, Fertility Bridges will provide the name and contact information of the Egg Donor to the Intended Parent's IVF Doctor and attorney.

IVF clinics require Intended Parents to hire an attorney who specializes in reproductive law to draft a legal contract between the Intended Parents and the Donor. Ask your doctor for a referral or we can provide one.

After both the Intended Parents and Donor sign the legal agreement, the cycle coordination process can begin.

EGG DONOR CYCLE FEES PAID TO DONOR

Egg Donor fees are separate from the Fertility Bridges match fees.

Our Database contains over 75 Egg Donors with fees that begin at $3,500 for those Intended Parents that are more cost conscious.

The average fee for a first time Donor with a college degree is $6,000 and up to $10,000+ for a repeat Donor.

A Donor's fee is non-refundable if she completes retrieval. You must also cover all the Donor's travel expenses if she travels out of town for your cycle.
